DELMAS ANNOUNCES TRANSFER OF NIGERIA EXPRESS SERVICE TO TCS

Nigeria Express ServiceTCS is delighted to confirm that French shipping line, Delmas, has confirmed that its West African Nigeria Express service will begin calls at the terminal early in January.  This will be a Sunday weekly service that links the UK and other north-west European ports with Ghana, Nigeria and the Ivory Coast, as well as providing transshipment opportunities through the hub port of Tangiers in Morocco.

Whilst Delmas is a new name at TCS, the company itself has long traditions having been founded in 1867, specialising in the African trade routes and more recently has become a separate but wholly-owned part of the CMA-CGM Group; the latter being one of TCS’ major customers with several existing services already calling at the terminal.  In particular, Delmas is a specialist in niche trades where expert local knowledge is a pre-requisite and this fits very well with TCS' reputation for offering personal customer service.
