TCS Gains Certification to ISO 28000

ISO 28000 is a security management system standard which has been developed specifically for logistics companies and organisations that manage supply chain operations. With this certification, TCS is able to offer a security service provision that is aimed at, first and foremost, benefiting and satisfying our customers' and partners' needs. TCS has also applied to HMRC for Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status which will be complementary to the existing ISO 28000 and ISPS certifications.

On achieving ISO 28000, Mike Gibson, Director General Manager, TCS, said:

" We are extremely proud to have achieved this certification as it enables us to demonstrate to all of our stakeholders that we are committed to supply chain security and have proven management systems for identifying threats and controlling risks."
