Environmental Successes
In 1998 Tilbury container services gained certification to BS EN ISO
140001-1996 Environmental Management System, the first
container terminal in the United Kingdom to achieve this status.
It provides TCS with a structure to manage and improve its
environmental footprint by means of regular internal and external
audits, the setting of challenging objectives and targets to
continually improve its environmental performance.
