Apprenticeships

We run a four year programme which provides you with the opportunity to gain valuable professional qualifications, build on your work experience with practical ‘hands-on’ training, improve your job and promotion prospects and earn at the same time, under the support of a large organisation.

In year one you will commence full time study at College. In years two to four you will be on day release studying various modules in line with the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme, which are likely to include an OND/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Areas of study include hydraulics, pneumatics, electric motors, control circuits and vehicle maintenance.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the dedication, attendance, attitude and performance of someone who wishes to succeed, both in academic study and practical application at work.

You will possess the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, have excellent problem solving skills and be flexible in your approach to work, with an aptitude for balancing work and study.

We recruit for apprentices between March and May each year and do not consider applications outside of this time.
